Leaving bulletin boards up all summer, make for 1 thing less to do when you come back to school in the Fall. I leave my bulletin boards covered(if I am keeping the same theme) and I leave my math wall up over the summer. I also leave up my alphabet and my numbers from the front of my room.
If I know I am going to change the place or the wall I will take it down so that I can change it in the fall, but these I leave up year to year and don't take down over the summer. it saves me a lot of time in September when I am setting everything else up for my classroom.
