4 Types of Sentences

This is a journal activity that I created for my students for in their Language Arts Journals.  After I have taught different forms of sentences I like to have my students add this to their journals to remind them that not all sentences end with a period, and not all sentences start with "I". It is also a nice reminder to some of my students when we start writing something new and all their sentences are starting to sound the same.

I have the students fold it in half and glue the blank side in their journals.  Then they cut on the horizontal lines and open each sentence up and write an example under it.
