Teacher Tip Tuesday #2

Organizing EOY Data
This week's tip is going to be about organizing data.  I hate to be that teacher who talks about data, but let's face it, it is a big part of teaching, whether we want to admit it or not.  At the end of the year, we need to test and record the data on our students reading progress.  We have to do it each quarter to show growth throughout the year, but the end of the year data is what will be shown at the beginning of next year, so it is important that you can organize it and understand it. This year, in order to stay organized with my testing and to see where my students needed to end up at the end of the year, I created a table to mark all their scores, tests, and goals onto.  It helped me to stay organized while testing and also to pace myself and push my students to where I knew they could achieve.
With this organizer, i was able to finish testing ALL 27 students in 9 days!  I had to give 46 tests and was able to finish all of them with time to spare!

I made this organizer for you to track your data as well!  I hope it helps make testing a little easier to manage.  It is FREE in my store!
